I read the first chapter of my new C# book, and I have to say that I’m extremely impressed with the way they designed the language. There are some really cool features in there. If only I could use it in Linux, without downloading tons of updates and a new compiler I’d be set.
I’m doing a lot of catching up now, the courses are just so easy that I’m having a hard time convincing myself that we’re covering any material at all in class. I’m starting to get the feeling that things would be better if I just stopped going to my classes. You know it’s often way easier to learn this stuff by reading the books, and the notes, and then using the profs office hours for any clarification. I mean it takes a prof an hour to go through 2-3 pages of notes. And if I go through them on my own, I could own those pages in an hour.
I’m starting to have some difficulties with Project TeamWork. I know what I want it do to and act but I’m not sure I know how best to implement it so that it’s upgradeable, easy to use, and provides all the features I want it to. I was considering doing a cluepacket server for dashboard, And that would work, but it would change what dashboard is and does. TeamWork may have to be a standalone app or intregrated with an Instant messaging program instead.
I started to get spam from having my resume posted on my website. Interesting because its directed, and job oriented. So I removed my e-mail address from the page to prevent more harvesting. I had been enjoying zero spam for 2 years.
