This puts me at the end of another week, and at the half-way point in the term.

My Databases midterm went alright… Not great. At least there were people there that know the material better than me that also had to keep their papers right to the last minute.

I was going to go see Kill Bill tonight. But I have no transportation in this place. The movie ends at 1:30 so the busses are not running. And it’s too far to walk Oh well, I really wanted to see it. Guess I’ll have to wait until I can rent the DVD.

I’ve managed to put some more thought into starting my own little business over the summer. I think it’s totally possible, and I think I could make some decent money at it in 4 months. Even if I didn’t make any money, It would look kick-ass on my resume. But then I look at what might be possible if I went up north again this summer. I think I could gross $15000 in 4 months doing the same thing that I did last year and net 8-9K To do that with a new venture in the first 4 months would be difficult to say the least, but there’s no way I’m going back up north… LumberJack just isn’t the best thing to put on a techie resume for when I want a job at IBM. So I’m going to continue to develop my business plan for the summer. Then when the summer rolls around I’ll be in a good position to decide what to do.

Oh, this is a picture of an interesting motorcycle. Mike sent it to me. It’s a nice looking bike with styling from the early 80’s but they’ve updated the rear suspension to something a little more modern….
