1:00am Graphics update:
Meshes are now working! here’s how it happened:
A lot of complicated math:
for each face in the mesh:
1. determine if the ray from the eye will hit the plane that is an extension of the face.
2. find the point where the hit occurs
3. project the face and hit point into 2 dimensions
4. see if the point is inside the shape

This puts me at less than 70% done the assignment.
next up is hierarchical models. Then it’s on to my choice of an extra feature. and then I have to design a unique scene.
Hierarchical models is what messed me up with the last assignment.
