Website work

The last couple of days I’ve been pretty busy with working on my various websites.  Over the last week, I’ve been putting some effort into getting the website and this blog a bit more exposure.  It’s hard to tell if it’s worked because as I’ve been submitting my sites to various places to promote it, I’ve been noticing bugs.
I’ve filled out the HalOtis blog a little more, and moved it from the /blog directory to be the root page of the site.  This makes the site more visible.  I tried to submit the site to a traffic trading site where I build credits by browsing other peoples sites and then other people browse my site.  However, there seems to be a bug with my site when viewed in Internet Explorer 6 that makes the site unreadable.  My next task is to get that fixed, and re-submit.
Submitting the site to Google for indexing, and providing all the help possible to Google to index it correctly is a good thing to do.  It does however take time.  Thus far I haven’t noticed it resulting in more traffic.
My current traffic numbers site-wide are about 15 visitors/day with 25% being new visitors.  I have a target of 1000 visitors/day that I’d like to get to by August.
