Happy Birthday to Me

Quarter of a century.

Times like this are good to reflect and see if I’ve met my goals.

25 was always a big number to me, many of the brightest minds did their best work between the ages of 20-25. Success, I thought, should be realized by the time I hit 25. However now that I’m at 25 it feels like I’m just starting on my success. I’m 5 years behind the curve so I have some catching up to do.

Compared to my peers, I’m doing pretty well for my age. But there are always things to improve on. There’s always a next level, and new experiences. There’s definitely lots to learn. I’m 25 and I still haven’t the ceiling to what’s possible.

I don’t know what my future has in store, but I’m in control of it, and it’s going to be good.
