Since I got back to Vancouver I’ve been suffering. I picked up a flu, probably while on the plane, which beyond giving me a sore throat also caused my back to tense up. So a couple of days ago I decided to try and stretch it out. It worked but as a result of the yoga poses I was doing I think I put too much pressure on my tail bone and may have either bruised or re-fractured it.
Several years ago while snowboarding at Sugarloaf I slipped and fractured my tail bone. It never fully healed and ever since after I do any moderate exercise there is a pain that goes down my leg.
So for the past couple of days my back and legs has not stopped hurting. If I go to the doctor I can expect a rectal exam and the advice to stay in bed for 2 days.
