36 hour fast

Tomorrow I’ve set a challenge for myself. I’m going to just drink water tomorrow as an experiment for self discovery. I’m going to see just what my brain will do when I take it off the normal routine for a day.

This was issued to me as a challenge by Eben Pagan who is coaching a personal productivity course that I will be taking for the next 3 months.

Part of the motivation in doing this is to test my commitment to change. That I really do have the drive to change my daily rituals and habits and replace them with more productive ones.

What I expect to happen is that in the morning I’ll feel good, by lunchtime I’ll start to feel hungry and then by mid afternoon my brain will start to invent reasons why I should be eating something.
