For supper last night we went to one of the premier restaurants in Vancouver. db Bistro Moderne serves fine French cuisine, the head chef is actually from Lyon, France.
I ordered the burger – It’s not your standard run of the mill kind of burger though. the patty is 1 inch thick, made from freshly minced steak, and it’s stuffed with truffles and meat from the ribs. It’s served medium rare with a side of fries. Oh man it was good!
For dessert I had a chocolate creme brulee with a ball of coffee flavor ice cream. also very tasty.
Heather ordered the special of the day which was 8 different cuts of pork prepared 8 different ways. It looked really good.
It was a great meal. I’m actually still feeling full.
