5 Day Fasts

Last week I completed one of my quarterly 5 Day Fasts.  No food, just water and tea for 5 days.  This time around it went surprisingly easy.

The only noticeable discomfort was having a mild headache on day 2 as I transitioned to ketosis. From that point to the end of day 5 I didn’t feel particularly hungry or motivated to snack.  If anything, I’ve been feeling better since this fast.

At the end of 5 days my weight was down by 10lbs. and has since bounced back by 5lbs. Though weight loss wasn’t a primary goal I’ll take it.
